NORTH EAST ICE HOCKEY HALL OF FAME

A ceremony held by the then Newcastle Riverkings franchise back in January 1999 in their Superleague game against the Manchester Storm, to announce the inaugural selections onto the North East Ice Hockey Wall of Fame. The players honoured were five of the greatest names in British Ice Hockey history in Peter Johnson, Terry Matthews, Alfie Miller, Kenny Matthews and Hep Tindale. Under the guidance of neicehockey.co.uk the Wall of Fame has now become the North East Ice Hockey Hall of Fame and this is it's official home! In November 2004, Stephen Johnson became the sixth induction into the North East Ice Hockey Hall of Fame
